The Student Stop AIDS speaker tour is back! Throughout February, the tour will be visiting universities throughout the UK promoting the voices of young people affected by HIV and AIDS from across the world. This years speakers include Jay from China, who coordinates SALT (Securing Access to Lifesaving Treatment); Nick an AIDS Activist from Glasgow and Daisy, director of WONETHA, a Ugandan organisation working with adult sex workers.
You can read the stories of some of our previous speakers here who spoke about their experiences in the hope of raising awareness of the issues surrounding HIV and AIDS and to inspire young people to campaign for universal access to medicine and healthcare.
EVERYONE is invited to attend Speaker Tour events in their area, click on the flyer for the dates of all the universities we will be visiting. If you would like more information please contact florence@restlessdevelopment.org or saoirse@restlessdevelopment.org
