Youth Stop AIDS Speaker Tour 2016!

The Youth Stop AIDS Speaker Tour in February 2016 is one of our most exciting events, you really don’t want to miss this!

The Speaker Tour is a jam-packed month of talks and workshops where incredible young people from the UK, Ireland and Uganda living with, or affected by, HIV or Tuberculosis will tell their personal stories and inspire young people and decision-makers.

We believe there is nothing more powerful than hearing the true-life experiences of people affected by these diseases to motivate others to take action. Come along, hear how they have faced complex but fascinating situations that they’ve turned into powerful tools for campaigning and find out how you can be join their voices calling for change.

Our speakers will speak over a marathon of 22 events reaching cities in Scotland, England and Wales and ending in UK Parliament, London.

How can you get involved?

Come along to an event and hear from the speakers themselves! We will be updating this page with exact times and venues as well as links to register. Watch this space and join the Facebook event to tune in for ‘on-the-road’ updates:

We’ll be holding our Day of MP Action on Tuesday 15th March 2016 in London.  After training and getting our campaign resources ready, we’ll be holding a stunt and then going to Westminster to engage with our Members of Parliament (MPs,) update them on our Missing Medicines campaign and call on them to take action with us to help reform the system for developing new medicine which is currently failing.
